    2018-'19 Season Information

Registration for the upcoming season is now open. The season officially opens the first week of December for all age groups. Important info:

Travel tryouts will take place around the beginning of October.  In order to participate in tryouts, you must be registered. Tryouts are open to all players going into the 4th-8th grades.

If a player makes a travel team, practices will beginning the week of October 22nd. For players who participate in a fall sport, that sport takes precedence until the season ends (but you should plan on attending both nights of tryouts).

Any player who does not make a travel team will automatically be placed in the appropriate Town league and put on a team.

Mites and Mini-Mites are a Saturday only program. Cadets and Juniors have one practice each week and a game on Saturday.

The season ends between the last week of February and the second week of March.

Congratulations and Thank You to the Lefebvre Family

CYBL would like to take a moment to congratulate Matthew Lefebvre for winning the 2017 Merrimack Valley League's 8th Grade Sportsmanship Award.  Every 8th grade team in the league nominates a player,  of which there are 40 teams.  Matthew stood out as someone who is exceptional and CYBL is proud of this achievement.

I would also like to congratulate Matthew's brother Eric Lefebvre.  Eric was the head coach of the Junior Boys Playoff Champions, The Thunder.  In addition to coaching his team to the title, Eric's High School Division team that he plays on, also won the playoff title.

As the youngest Lefebvre boy heads off to high school, I would also like to take a moment to thank his family.  His Dad, Ken Lefebvre, has always volunteered his time to coach, and his willingness to do so has rubbed off on his sons.  Shawn and Joe, who are both in college, have both spent multiple seasons on the sideline coaching teams in our Junior Division.  In addition, Eric, Shawn and Joe have been part of our corp of referees.

Thank you Lefebvre Family for all you have given to CYBL.  We appreciate your volunteerism!
