Games are a mix of home matchups in Chelmsford and away games in surrounding communities.  Attendance at practices and games is essential to player development, team chemistry and overall program success.

    CYBL ANTICIPATED DIVISIONS: 2025-2026

CYBL's goal is always to get as many kids as possible playing basketball in a safe, supportive and FUN environment while focusing on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship.  As our players get older, we also introduce healthy competition to our programs so they can be as prepared as possible for their next level of play, whatever that might be!

Based on past seasons, these are the divisions we anticipate offering this year.
PLEASE NOTE: Divisions are subject to change based on registration numbers and gym availability!

CYBL has a no drop off policy.   All Children including Teens Must Be Accompanied By A Responsible Adult at All Times at CYBL events.  Due to problems with inappropriate behavior and vandalism,  the Chelmsford School Dept. and the CYBL Board of Directors have instituted a policy requiring the adult supervision of all youth attending CYBL Intramural and Travel games.

    Overview

More details about our programs and registration are located here:   https://www.cybl.net/registration

The season officially opens the first week of December for all age groups.   Important info:

    • Travel tryouts will take place in mid- to late-September.  In order to participate in tryouts, a player must be registered. Tryouts are open to all players going into the 3rd-8th grades.
    • If a player makes a travel team, practices will begin in mid-October. For players who participate in a fall sport, that sport takes precedence until the season ends (but the player should plan on attending both nights of tryouts).
    • Any player who does not make a travel team will automatically be placed in the appropriate Town league and put on a team.
    • Mini-Mites are a Saturday only program. Mites, Cadets and Juniors have one practice each week and a game on Saturday.
