On Friday, March 8th, the world famous Harlem Wizards, with their tricks, hoops and alley oops basketball style, return to the Chelmsford High School gym as part of their world-wide Fanomenal Tour! This community event is a fundraiser that will directly benefit the Chelmsford Youth Basketball League (CYBL) program.
The Wizards will face "CYBL Pride 2013", our local team made up of school staff from Chelmsford Elementary and Middle Schools.
At a Wizards game fans see amazing basketball talent combined with hilarious comedy. The athleticism, tricks and fancy teamwork and ball-handling wizardry, plus wild dunks not even seen in NBA games engages and wows the most avid hoops fans. The comedy is for everybody. The Wizards look to push the envelope on fun, combining pre-planned comedic acts with spontaneous humor that fans of all ages will find laugh out-loud funny.
The halftime show with hundreds of kids on the court, plus the postgame interaction is the cherry on top as the Wizards stay until every autograph is signed.
Started in 1962 by New York Sports promoter Howie Davis, and now celebrating 51 years of Wizardry, he envisioned a show and organization that would put a different spin on show basketball. Fifty one years later the Wizards are an institution, creating awe-inspiring fundraiser events for schools and non-profits in communities and cities across America. This will be a sell-out event!

Tickets on Sale NOW! Advance tickets are $12 general admission and $10 for students and seniors. Advance tickets can be purchased with cash or check (payable to CYBL) at select CYBL weekend game locations and at Center Brickhouse Pizza at 1 Central Square in Chelmsford until the end of Thursday, March 7th, or until the event sells out.
Tickets may also be purchased on line with credit card at www.harlemwizards.com (additional service charge applies). Any remaining tickets on the day of the event may be purchased at the door for $14 general admission and $12 for students and seniors.
NOTE: Fans Who Buy Their Tickets Online - "Will Call" will have a special line/table just inside the entrance to the gym.
