
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Chelmsford Youth Basketball League (CYBL)
For the 2007-08
season, there are TWO registration options:

1. Online Registration
with Credit Card or Check Payment - the preferred
registration method - please click on this online
registration link to learn why CYBL is recommending this
registration method to Parents and Players, and to begin
the online registration process.
PLEASE NOTE: Online registrations will be accepted
after September 30th, but a LATE FEE will be
charged AND the Player may be put on a WAITING
LIST.
PLEASE NOTE: As of October 15th, you can no longer register online for the JUNIOR BOYS (grades 7-8) INTRAMURAL (also called IN-TOWN) DIVISION. Please contact Gary Green, Junior Boys Division Director, directly by phone at 978-453-2635 for further instructions.

2. Offline Registration - you can fill
out a printed registration form, but the cost will be
$10.00 more per registered Player
than if you register online. The additional $10.00 per
player charge will help cover the cost of entering the
information from the printed form into the online database.
For league organization purposes, ALL Player and Coach
info is entered into the CYBL online database.

so.

PLEASE NOTE: You can no longer download the printed
registration form from this Web site and mail it to CYBL.

We encourage as many people as possible to use the online
registration process (over 98% of registrants did so
last year) and not wait until the last minute as divisions may
fill up and there may be a need to have a waiting list. Also,
you will save $10.00 per Player if you use the online registration
process instead of filling out a printed form.

There is a $300 maximum fee per family for intramural
participants only. There is a $500 maximum fee per family
for those who have participants in both the intramural
and travel programs.
LATE FEE: After September 30, 2007,
registrations for ALL Divisions will increase by $25. For
High School Boys and Girls participants the late fee will be
waived if you can show that you tried out for the High School
team (Varsity, JV or Freshman).
PLEASE NOTE: if you register online and choose to pay
by check, if the check is not received at CYBL by September
30th, it will be considered a late payment and you will be charged
the appropriate late fee.
TRAVEL TEAM FEE of $190
will be charged to those players who make the Travel Teams.
After Travel Teams are chosen in October, an additional
fee of $95 ($190 minus $95) will be required.

Travel Team Tryouts
& Intramural Division Evaluations:
Grades 5 thru 8 Boys and Girls TRAVEL TEAM tryouts will be
held FIRST beginning in early October (schedule TBA).
TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS ARE OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PLAYERS. (Note:
Once accepted into the TRAVEL program, participants will be
billed the additional Travel Team fee.)
After Travel Team tryouts are held and Travel Team players are
selected, preliminary Cadet (Grades 5, 6) and Junior (Grades
7, 8) Boys and Girls INTRAMURAL Division teams will be formed
by Division Directors, and Coaches for each team will be selected.
In mid-November, these preliminary Intramural teams will scrimmage
against one another (schedule TBA). FINAL INTRAMURAL Division
Team Rosters will be determined AFTER team scrimmages are held.
