ELKS "HOOPSHOOT"
NATIONAL FREE THROW CONTEST
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 2011
9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
McCarthy Middle School (Small Gym)
250 North Road, Chelmsford, MA
Open To All Boys and Girls
Ages 8 Thru 13
Each participant, boy or girl ages 8 through 13, is allowed to compete ONCE within the time frame alloted (9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.). You may leave after you compete.
At the end of the competition, there will be twelve (12) winners:
Girls, ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
Boys, ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
The winners are those participants who have made the most foul shoots in their category. The Tournament Director will call each winner that evening. They qualify to compete at the next level of competition, at a time and place to be determined.

9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
McCarthy Middle School (Small Gym)

Open to all Boys and Girls
Ages 10 through 14
1) The Knights of Columbus / David G. Gorham Memorial Free Throw Championship runs from 9:00 to 3:00 on Saturday, January 15th.
2) At anytime during these hours, any boy or girl between the ages of 10 and 14, may participate (only once during the day).
3) Each participant shoots a specified number of foul shots.
4) There are ten (10) groups established for the participants:

5) Girls 12 6) Boys 12
7) Girls 13 8) Boys 13
9) Girls 14 10) Boys 14
5) At the end of the day (3:00 P.M.) the highest number of shots made in each age group is declared the winner.
6) The ten (10) winners are notified by the Knights of Columbus and asked to compete at the next level of competition.
